About the QV Library

Success in a college program requires using a laptop or desktop! A smartphone, tablet, or Chromebook is not enough.

If you cannot complete your coursework because you have no laptop or because your laptop is too old to handle the necessary software, the QVCC Library has a FREE  laptop lending program, while supplies last. 

Once you are registered for class(es), complete the online QVCC Technology Request Form to get your name on the waiting list.  Completing the form takes just 3-5 minutes.

Thinking of purchasing a laptop?  Already own a device and wondering if your technology is sufficient for the work you'll need to do in your courses?  The IT Department has provided a description of just what you need to be sure your device is college-ready.

• If you need to use a Microsoft Product, you may need to sign in. 
• Enter your NetID (the one that has 8 numbers) + student.commnet.edu (12345678@student.commnet.edu).
• Next, enter the same Password that you use for Blackboard. 
• To avoid entering your information every time and you are using your personal device, click YES to stay signed in.
