NAICS
Find your industry code: The North American Industry Classification System classifies "business establishments for the purpose of collecting, analyzing, and publishing statistical data related to the U.S. business economy." Large corporations or conglomerates may operate in many industries and have multiple codes. Most databases recognize and are searchable by NAICS code.
