Ramp Up Your Tech Skills: CT Info Lit Shared Resources

Resources for the "Bridging the Digital Divide" 2021 CT Information Literacy Conference/Break-Out  B, June 11
And for the CSCU Library Consortium Summer Meeting, July 29 2021

Sharing Resources

Librarians: Please use the navigation tabs on the left to view our toolkit.  Originally, we hoped to make this a student-friendly resource.  With time constraints and staffing shortages, we settled for creating a librarians' toolkit.  Staff members used these guides as a ready-reference to the essential skills college students need at the starting gate.  We hope to create a student-friendlier site for these guides in 2022.

We invented nothing.  As you will quickly see, many of these guides are links to readily available online guides and videos.  We made heavy use of existing CSCU resources, with special thanks to the folks in Education Technology and the IT Department.

Loan Agreement

We invented nothing.  Our thanks to the Raymond F. Damato Library at Connecticut's Manchester Community College for sharing their equipment loan agreements with us.  This sample agreement has been adapted from their excellent documents.

Ticket-Home Handouts

Each handout offers basic step-by-step info from our troubleshooting files or served as a half-sheet laptop bag stuffer with how-to-get-help contact information.
