Citation Style Guides

Activate the tab in this box for the style guide you need.  In general, APA is used by psychology, sociology, and some science classes; Chicago/Turabian is used in history courses; and, MLA in English Classes.  Check your instructor's requirements.

APA has a new style!  The 7th edition.  View the APA's Official Quick Reference Guide. For many more examples, the APA has a complete guide, too.  See this handy and very detailed Student Paper Checklist and this annotated Student Sample Paper.
