Here are a few quick tips for students who want to search for literary criticism but are not sure where to start.

There are great resources to use to find high-quality articles on literary criticism as well as information on literary works for English classes.

Editorially reviewed critical analyses, character studies, author biographies and plot summaries of the most studied literary works.
Bloom's Literature This link opens in a new window
This database is a great resource for literary analysis or literary criticism assignments often included in English classes.
Academic Search Premier This link opens in a new window
A rich, multi-disciplinary database which includes thousands of full-text peer-reviewed journals, select open-access journals, and ahead-of-print content.

These databases are great to use for general searches to find high quality content. Consider also using some of the more precise databases if you are searching for a particular topic.
