How is college different from high school?
Here are a few examples as to how college is different from high school. College students are responsible for their own time, schedule, and decisions. Classes meet less frequently in college and can have large time gaps in between, and vary from day to day. The student is responsible for completing all class work, lectures, assignments, and tests on time. Homework is not always collected and corrected. Overall, the college student needs to take ownership of their own learning, and seek out help when they need it.
